Does it make a difference where on the product the OnVu™ label is applied?
Yes. The OnVu™ label measures the temperature exactly where it is placed. During the introduction phase, we draw on our experience to help our customers find the best place to adhere the label. The OnVu™ label should be applied where the indicator will optimally show whether or not the cold chain has been breached.
How can I let my customers know about OnVu™ and its benefits?
Recipients are informed in two ways:
- Right next to the indicator on the label, there is a text explaining how OnVu™ works. Instructions for use are thus practically built-in.
- OnVu™ is also integrated into the delivery documents. This also lets the recipient know that a new label technology is now helping to monitor the cold chain.
Can OnVu™ be integrated into the producer’s HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) process?
Yes – OnVu™ is a logical part of the overall HACCP plan, which helps ensure the safety of foods. OnVu™ has been validated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as part of a U.S. food producer’s HACCP process.
